Is anyone else shocked that it’s already mid-November? It seems the last three months of the year seem to accelerate time, passing by faster than any other month. It’s crazy!
By this time of year, readers are either relaxed and celebrating their accomplished reading goal, OR frantically trying to finish out the year strong by picking up a few last-minute reads.
More often than not, I am a part of the latter group, so I can say with less-than-proud honesty that I have some experience in the art of last-minute reading. Your saviors, fellow slackers, come in three categories: short stories, graphic novels, and poetry. While I will later be sharing a list of some great books in these categories, this post is dedicated solely to graphic novels.
I was kind of inspired to do a sort of graphic novel infographic/flow chart quiz after seeing a similar one in the back of a graphic novel I read. I thought, Hey, I can do that. So, I did. It’s super rough and only has about 6 books on there, but these are some great graphic novels that you need to read for both enjoyment and to boost your end-of-year reading numbers. I’m hoping maybe by this time next year, I’ll have read more graphic novels and also gained the skills required to create a better flow chart.
What Graphic Novel Should You Read Next?

I know, kind of lame. Now that I’m looking at it, I sort of don’t even want to post it. But I spent a ridiculously long time making it, so not posting it would almost be worse… Anyway, click on the links below to see each book’s Goodreads page, and get reading!
