6-Year Blogiversary

Happy 6th birthday to this blog!

Still can’t believe I’ve stuck to something for so long. This blog is older than my relationship with my fiancé. I’ve been blogging longer than I’ve ever been able to stick to a workout routine. Honestly, it’s pretty impressive.

August 2019 – August 2020 has been…interesting to say the least. A lot has happened. I won the Commitment to Service award at my company award banquet, plus $1000 cash. I got engaged to the love of my life. I started going to therapy. And of course, I’ve been surviving a global pandemic while living in the country handling it the absolute worst. It’s been a big year for me, personally.

But let’s get into what really matters: books and blog stats! My Goodreads Reading Challenge is going okay so far. I definitely did not use my pandemic time wisely be reading, as you can see here…

But I’m making a comeback, I swear. I will meet my Goodreads goal again this year. I wish I wasn’t 3 books behind schedule… I also wish I would have spent more time reading than playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, because then maybe I’d be a little further along than 36 books… This time last year I was at 39 books, which isn’t too bad.

I’ve also been blogging a lot more, and interacting more on social media, which I’ve been really enjoying! Check out these stats!!

!!! How crazy this that! I gained over 100 followers since last year, and have increase the number of views by over 4,000!! I’m so impressed with this, and it truly means a lot to me. I’ve even been featured in a few blog posts here in the past couple weeks, where an amazing blogger gathers some of their favorite posts they’ve read that week. Like, it’s such an honor to be featured like that. That I could write a post that someone enjoyed enough to share with others is beyond amazing.

So to all my old and new followers, thank you times a million for supporting me and reading my blog! Honestly, just anyone reading and liking even one post means the world to me. So thank you. It’s been a crazy six years, and I’m excited for each and every year to come. Even if everyone stopped reading my blog, I would still do this, because I love it. Blogging is pretty much the one creative hobby I have, and I wouldn’t stop for anything ❤
